Some new developments:I am set for at least four great posts this week, one on how to use nightscaping effectively. I am also going to be doing a designer profile of a famous lighting innovator whose light may be used in our giveaway (hint).
The giveaway-I am thrilled with the amount of traffic and attention that the blog has been receiving. Because of this, I should be announcing this giveaway fairly shortly, can you feel the anticipation building up?
Also, I think that I am going to be moving closer to Boston. More details to come, I just don't want to jinx it.
I had a great weekend in Maine with the family. My sister was home from Washington D.C. and it was great spending time with her and the fam. I realize that spending some quality family time definitely grounds you a bit, and puts things into perspective, mainly, what is important and what is not. One takeaway from the weekend-we were all walking on the beach and I saw what was a drain, carrying water to the ocean all the way down the beach, forming a kind of stream. The stream was probably about 5 or 6 ft wide and I decided to jump it. As I approached it, I realized that my jump was sub-par, at best and I clipped the edge, absolutely faceplanting. It was hysterical.
