311-Long for the Flowers-This is a blast from the past (summer 2005 to be exact)
Death Cab-Tiny Vessels. I've been listening to a lot of this lately, great stuff
Today, Brand New announced their new album Daisy, coming out on September 22nd. I have only heard one song from the new album, this one here, which is amazing, especially live.
Lighting picks for the week from All Modern Lighting-Table lamp edition!
This very Wacky George Kovacs accent lamp with clear and frosted glass-not your usual run of the mill Kovacs product. I'm liking its uniqueness.
Lamp International Cleofe Two Light Table Lamp in Rust-This is my favorite; comes with Murano crystal and silver leaf scales, looks more like a plant than a lamp. Hefty price tag though at over 1G.
Babette Holland Uptown Gemini Table Lamp with Raku Band and Black Linen Shade-There is something really chic about this lamp. The raku band and the aluminum finish really brings out the attractiveness of this Babette Holland piece.A Book that I really want to read:
From Amazon.com:Fallada wrote this novel in twenty-four days in 1947, the last year of his life; he was addicted to drugs and alcohol, and had just been released from a Nazi insane asylum. The story is based on that of an actual working-class Berlin couple who conducted a three-year resistance campaign against the Nazis, by leaving anonymous postcards at random locations around the city.
I'll let you know how it is.
